COVID-19
The Great House experience has been long defined by incomparable service and a warm island welcome. In keeping with the essence of genuine hospitality, the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority.
We have implemented a Health & Safety Committee to ensure strict adherence to the latest guidelines and advisories. We remain uncompromising in our approach to cleanliness, which is subject to rigorous review and will be modified to adapt to any changes in recommendations. We are employing every method to ensure comfort, and continued exemplary standards.
All of our staff have been provided with appropriate PPE and instructions for correct use. We employ enhanced deep cleaning methods and products as advised by the authorities, with particular attention to all high touch areas with task-specific procedures. Frequent hand washing is mandatory for all staff, and hand sanitiser is available throughout the property. Wherever possible social distancing is practised.
All visitors to the property, including our staff, are subject to a non-invasive temperature screening. Any person showing a temperature over 38c (or 100.60f) will be asked to submit to a private secondary screening. We also employ a track and trace assist via a sign-in policy.
Should a guest feel unwell, we ask that they self isolate and notify a member of staff immediately and remain in isolation until we are able to arrange professional medical attention. During this time, guests will, of course, be provided with full support, but all direct interaction will be suspended.

While moving around the island, you will find that businesses now have several safety protocols implemented. The majority will require you to sanitise your hands before entering, allow a non-contact temperature scan and will ask you to wear a mask while on or inside their environs. Physical distancing is also a must.
While some things must change, the personal service and stunning surroundings remain, and the familiar faces of The Great House are here to welcome you back.
