QUARANTINE
Before arrival in Barbados, every member of your party over the age of 18 will need to sign a letter, confirming that you have read the protocols and are aware of the penalties. Each member of your party over the age of 5, will also need to take an approved PCR test 3 days before arrival. Please use this link for specific exemptions and the latest Government protocols, as these can change frequently.
Twenty-four hours before travel, you will need to upload your negative result and complete a digital personal health questionnaire, which you can find here.
On completion of this, you will receive a barcode via email. Immigration will require this barcode on your arrival and please note that masks are mandatory at the airport.
You will be required to quarantine with restricted movement until you provide a valid negative test result from your second PCR test, which is taken five days after arrival. For this brief period, we are required to limit certain services but will do everything in our power to ensure that this does not affect your enjoyment in any manner.
You can take your second test, privately at The Great House. Once you have emailed your negative result to cressida@thegreathousebarbados.com and received confirmation, you will be released from quarantine and able to enjoy the boats, gym, home cinema, tennis court and all of the facilities including the beach, subject of course, to any limitations imposed by Government mandates.
In the unlikely event of a positive test result, The Ministry of Health will determine whether or not you can self isolate at The Great House, based on your symptoms and health.
We wish you safe travels and a wonderful holiday.
